'Josephine Wilson was awarded the Dorothy Hewitt Award for an Unpublished Manuscript in 2015, and her work, Extinctions, went on to receive the Miles Franklin Literary Award in 2017. Josephine writes poetry and prose, she has a PhD in creative writing, and she has taught in universities around Australia. In this interview, I had the chance to talk to Josephine about the influences that made her the writer she is today.' (Introduction)
