Broadcast on Good Friday and taking its title from the Gospel of St Luke ('And it was almost the sixth hour: and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour', chapter XXIV, verse 44), this was likely an account of the crucifixion of Jesus. Based on radio guides, it was intended for a child audience.
