BiographyHistory

Dr Tyson Yunkaporta belongs to the Apalech Clan from Western Cape York; in 2019, he was a senior lecturer at Monash University in Melbourne, in Indigenous Knowledges. He also carves traditional tools and weapons, and is a published poet. In 2019, he published the non-fiction Sand Talk: How Indigenous Thinking Can Save the World with Text Publishing.
