BiographyHistory

Ruth Devine has been a journalist working in both the UK and Australia for over 25 years. The Chronicles of Jack McCool is her first children’s book series. Specialising in writing about parenting and health and with three sons of her own diagnosed with ADHD, one of Ruth’s main reasons for writing the series was to create a rollicking adventure story with a quirky main character that her own boys would love but one which would also engage other children with ADHD as well as reluctant readers. When she’s not writing or reading, Ruth procrasti-cleans and enjoys walking her kelpie along the coastline of Sydney’s northern beaches where she lives.
