AbstractHistoryArchive Description

This work is a collection of Indigenous words and their corresponding definition in English. This data was collected by Hewitt but he did not note the location of where it was gathered.  Robert Dawson structured Hewitt's notes at the New South Wales State Library and in collaboration with Hewitt’s son, it was determined to be the dialect of the Upper Clarence River Aboriginal peoples.
