BiographyHistory

Former band manager. He published an account of The Angels in collaboration with former band members in 2017.

Bob Yates opened a folk club in a Balmain church hall in 1974 which led to him promoting concerts and dances with bands such as Skyhooks, Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band, Radio Birdman, The Saints, Sports, Ferrets, and The Angels. For two years, Bob managed New Zealand band Mi-Sex and toured them throughout the United States before leaving the music industry.
