AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A morality tale, in which a young rat-kangaroo envies the possum's luxurious coat, only to see him die horribly in a trap set by fur traders.

Notes

  • The rat-kangaroo (Potoroidae) is called a kangaroo-rat in the story; not to be confused with the North American marsupial of the same name.
