'Abigail Mitchell, Mathew Gordon and Madison Ramsey are 11 year old friends who go the Royal National Park for a bushwalk and picnic. After a violent electrical storm, only Maddie returns home. Abby and Mathew find an alien space shuttle and inadvertently become stowaways. The shuttle is driven back to the mother ship which returns to the home planet of Zorgon.The inhabitants of Zorgon are facing the imminent implosion of their volatile planet and need to find another world for themselves. Abby and Mathew are sent on an investigative mission with the Zorgi Captain Zelba to search for suitable planets in the solar system. Their journey takes them to many different and sometimes dangerous worlds. Will the two children have any possibility of returning home to Earth or must they remain with the Zorgi people forever?'
