Based on the Round Table knight Sir Lionel, son of King Bors of Gaunnes and of Evaine, brother of Bors the Younger, cousin of Lancelot. Lionel is primarily known for his loyalty to Lancelot, with whom he was raised and whom he followed into exile after the exposure of his infidelity.
