At a dinner for the king, Archimedes boasts that, given a place to stand and a lever long enough, he could move the world. The king challenges him instead to launch the Syrakosia, his massive warship, single handedly. But as Archimedes' master-carpenter prepares for the wager, he becomes aware that someone is attempting to sabotage his plans.
