Magan Magan is a Melbourne artist who started writing in his teens. His work looks at gender, race, and belonging and focuses on articulating the real lived experiences of those who are made to be the other. He has read his work widely at galleries, festivals, and poetry nights and has been published in a range of Australian periodicals.
In 2018, he was undertaking a degree in creative writing at Victoria University, and co-curating Black Inc's forthcoming collection Growing Up African in Australia.
