A multidisciplinary science journal published in the UK, Nature was originally founded in 1869 and has, over the years, published a succession of papers on significant scientific breakthroughs, including Watson and Crick's paper on the structure of DNA.
In 1999, Nature began publishing science-fiction stories, in a sub-section of the periodical called 'Futures'.
Only fictional works by Australian authors or with Australian content are individually indexed on AustLit.
