BiographyHistory

Brio Books was established in 2016, as an imprint of Xoum Publishing. In February 2018, Xoum Publishing changed it's name to Brio Books. Brio Books contains the following imprints: Xoum (general fiction, non-fiction, and children's), Seizure (emerging talent), Fantastica (science fiction and fantasy), and XO Romance (contemporary women's fiction).

Brio Books is located in Surry Hills, New South Wales.

In 2018, Brio Books launched the Fantastica Prize.

In 2021, Brio Books became part of Booktopia's publishing arm, Booktopia Publishing, which will continue to publish books under the Brio imprint.
