BiographyHistory

The Atlas Review was founded in 2012 by Natalie Eilbert - who is also the Publisher and Editor in Chief. One of the main goals that The Atlas Review has is to "combat the institutional weight of the literary community."

They focus on bold pieces that cannot be pigeonholed and refuse the label "experimental". Their website details the following about their published works: "We publish works in all genres, and are delighted by genre-bending in every way. We are committed to diversity—in representation, aesthetic, and theme."

They have published five literary magazines over the course of three years, and have more recently expanded to chapbook publishing as well. The inaugural chapbook series was titled TAR Chapbook Series and was first published in 2016.

They strive for their work to be "[artifacts] of the beauty, labor, and collaboration within each individual issue."
