AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'We're all familiar with the general trend at Writers' Festivals to make some room on the program - sometimes a bit dutifully - for short stories, and by and large the talk seems to be divided between how the form is not as respected as it should be, and its practitioners not given the publication attention they deserve, and discussion about whether or not the short story is experiences a 'renaissance' of popularity and recognition, or not.'
