Heidi Lee Douglas has long experience in documentary film-making, including the recent Defendant 5, an ABC-al Jazeera co-production. In 2014, she wrote and directed Little Lamb, a short horror film about a young convict woman alone on an isolated Australian farm. The film was shown at festivals internationally.
