BiographyHistory

Born in Damascus to a Lebanese father and a Syrian mother, Jean Bachoura was educated at the University of Melbourne, and later pursued a career in acting, including roles in The Librarians, We Run This, and the mini-series Gallipoli, as well as short films.

In 2016, he was shortlisted for the Deborah Cass Prize for an emerging writer from a multicultural background.
