'When the law refuses to help after an attack on her family's farm, Rosie turns to Carlton for help. Discovering the human mech's mysterious past leads Rosie to learn some of her family's secrets, ones that threaten her future. Complications increase when they rescue a thief, learn about a missing woman and meet a blood shaman, an enemy of their country. They need to track down the outlaws and find the missing woman before the rainy season starts and wipes away all the clues.
