'Jim Claven is a freelance writer and historian and Secretary of the Melbourne-based Lemnos Gallipoli Commemorative Committee since 2011. He has written extensively on the Anzac connection to Greece, particularly the role of Lemnos in the Gallipoli campaign, and is researching the Anzac trail on Lemnos and Greece, having led a number of commemorative tours throughout Greece.
