Notes

  • Author's note:

This is a love poem, its form based on characteristics of the element cobalt. The poem begins with cobalt’s chemical symbol, and is expressed in two sections: the first is written in third person, and has a word count equivalent to cobalt’s atomic weight; the second is written in first person, and has a word count equivalent to cobalt’s atomic radius.
