BiographyHistory

D. Bowes-Kelly collaborated with Muriel Lesley on several ABC radio musicals during the mid-1930s - both as librettist and composer. A 1938 report on a War Veterans fundraiser records that he was at that time a member of staff for Voice of Australia ('Ugly Man Competition.' The Sydney Morning Herald 4 July 1938, 5).
