Notes

  • Authors note: This is a collaboration between Chris Lynch and a rawlings. A mandelbrot starts with an offer of a single word; the poets take turns writing the next line using one word from the preceding line as a starting point, circling around and back to the title. The form seems to be about finding a sweet spot between coherence and incoherence; writing a mandelbrot is a bit like going on a pub crawl with someone and ending up in a great bar neither of you had ever heard of.
