BiographyHistory

Susan Midalia has studied and taught at the University of Western Australia and, on a Hackett scholarship, studied at Cambridge University. From 1979 to 1981, she was an Editorial Advisor for Westerly. In 1997, she completed a Ph.D. on The Politics of Agency in the Contemporary Female Bildungsroman. She works as a freelance editor and conducts workshops on short story writing. In 2018, she was a board member for both Margaret River Press and writingWA.
