History

'The CYBER Award (Children's Yearly Best Ever Reads) is the Tasmanian popular choice award. When last reported, this award was run by a group of librarians, teachers and booksellers, allowing any Tasmanian student (K-12) to vote for an Australian books published in the last 10 years.

  • CYBER is: Children's Yearly Best-Ever Reads is a Tasmanian award, first presented in 1999. Students in primary and secondary schools around Tasmania, vote through schools, public libraries and bookshops for their favourite book. There are three sections: Older Readers, Younger Readers & Most Popular Book and Picture Book.
