Notes

  • Established 1975 in honour of the prominent New Zealand illustrator Russell Clark. First presented in 1978. The Award recognises excellence in children's book illustration and is given to a New Zealand citizen or resident for the most distinguished pictures or illustrations in a children's or young adult's book, with or without text. Non-fiction as well as fiction titles are eligible.
