History

The Courier-Mail Literary Competition were sponsored by the Queensland Independent Education Union, the English Teachers' Association of Queensland and The Courier-Mail. The aim of the competition was to 'give students the opportunity to practise their skills and be recognised'. (The Courier-Mail, 25 October 2005 p104)
