History

Entering The Age Short Story Competition raises the profile of the author and the work, attract critical attention and move closer to publication. The competition is run in conjunction with the international writers' association, PEN. 

Notes

  • Between 1979 and 1984 the competition was conducted with Tabloid Story and was known as The Age-Tabloid Story Awards.
