History

Edith Cowan University (ECU), The School of Arts and Humanities’ undergraduate creative writing prize, the Talus, is open to all currently enrolled ECU undergraduate students across our three campuses. This competition gives students the chance to explore their creative side and express themselves through the written word. Cash and book prizes are awarded to the most outstanding works in two categories, ‘Prose’ and ‘Poetry’. Submissions open in July and the winners are announced in the final week of October and prizes will be awarded at the School’s annual Student Prize Ceremony in March of the following year.
