History

'The competition recognizes and encourages scholarship in Canadian studies by undergraduate students enrolled in any faculty at universities in Australia and New Zealand. The competition has a cash prize of AUD $1,200.

'The essay must be on Canada or have a substantial Canadian component (e.g. a comparative study between Canada and another country/region). Entries should aim to demonstrate an understanding of Canada. We welcome entries from across a broad range of faculties, however the competition is especially suited to the humanities and social sciences.'
