History

This competition was an annual event and was sponsored by Australian Roadside Services. Winning and selected entries were published in the Slippery When Wet anthology. It was open to amateur writers across Australia and New Zealand. Stories of up to 2000 words on a 'road' theme were accepted. Entries had to be unpublished and  not have won any other awards.
