  • 'The IRSCL Award for outstanding research was established in 1994. It honours a distinguished work in the field of children's literature research published in the two (calender) years prior to the Congress at which it is awarded. The recipient must be an IRSCL member in good standing and must have been nominated by another member. Board members are not eligible for nomination (Council website http://www.irscl.ac.uk/award.htm sighted 06/08/2007).
