Notes

  • 'The Corine International Book Prize was first awarded in the year 2000 by the Bavarian branch of the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels (German Book Traders' Association) and a multitude of partners and sponsors with the aim of providing international authors with more glamour on German television, presenting their works to potential readers in an attractive manner and giving booksellers a special marketing boost.' (Website)

The prize is awarded in several categories.
  • 'The award announced on its website that it would take a break for 2012 and relaunch in 2013,  but has not returned as of 2022.' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corine_Literature_Prize
