History

The Premier's Award for Queensland Seniors recognises volunteers aged over 60 as part of Seniors Week celebrations. The awards were given in recognition of outstanding service to the community and to Queensland.

Notes

  • The goals of the Premier's Awards are to: celebrate and recognise the voluntary contributions of Queensland seniors; provide role models to inspire and encourage other members of the community; and challenge traditional assumptions about older people and ageing.
