History

Offered by the periodical The Bulletin With Newsweek. The competition was held for a search for the most creative and innovative people in Australia. On October 6, the journal in association with Microsoft Corp published a special issue of the journal titled "The Smart 100." Finalists were those who made a significant contribution to Australian life. The publication titled "The Bulletin Microsoft Smart 100" featured 10 categories, from design, arts and business to science, information technology, agriculture, health and education. Innovative research and exceptional projects in the sporting arena and society more generally were also included in the list. Each week, 10 finalists in the featured category were announced.
