AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'The first two books compiled by a language group in northern New South Wales - the culmination of more than a dozen years' work - were launched at an historic ceremony at Macksville RSL Club on November 20. The books, an English and an untranslated version of Gumbaynggir legends, were officially launched by Auntie Maggie Morris of Kempsey - the only surviving contributor.'
