[Untitled], single work review
A lengthy review of the Theatre Royal's new piece, Stirling Coyne's 'Fraud and its Victims'. The Star congratulates the theatre management for procuring so recent a play for the Ballarat stage. The play demonstrates the latest style of comedy combined with the 'lights and shadows of the better sort of melodrama' and illustrates the misery caused by the British Bank swindle.
