Jenny and Jim are two orphans who live on the city streets. When Jim disappears Jenny is adopted into a rich family. However she never forgets Jim and a chance reunion changes her life for the better.
While cruising down the Nile, the narrator listens to a story told by a hasheesh dreamer about Abdallah, the third son of a king, who is betrayed by his brothers, trapped in another realm, and undertakes many heroic deeds before he returns home to seek revenge.
