Marcia is an actor in Rosemary Rogers's Psychic Theatre. She has kept this a secret from her guardian, Harry Sefton, and his son, Bert, because she fears their reactions but when Harry insists on accompanying her to a performance she is unable to prevent him. She is forced to introduce him to Rosemary Rogers, but the outcome is not what she expects.

A Cow and Chickens, Hamer , single work short story
After being served with divorce papers, Dansey drives to the country to walk in the bush. He meets a couple living on a farm and they invite him in. The farm causes him to reminisce about the early years of his marriage and, when the couple tell him the property is for sale, he buys it. Then he asks his wife to come and see it and both of them are affected by their shared memories.
