Breakers on the Beach, Dorothy Cork , single work novel romance
Eden went out to Australia to live with her grandfather with the highest hopes - but alas. they were dashed within weeks. She just could not get on with the autocratic old man, and after a blazing row she took herself off elsewhere. Only to meet another autocratic man - this time the disconcerting Sin Watermount, with whom eden couldn't get on either! Was it all her fault, or were all Australians as difficult as these two? She just couldn't imagine what Sin's fiancee saw in him - and why that unpleasant Bibi Webster was so busily trying to annexe him for herself was beyond comprehension! And then Eden realised that she was furiously jealous of Bibi. Now why could that be? - back cover (London, 1977)
