Notes

  • The Sydney Morning Herald theatre critic writes : 'Considered as a burlesque, Mrs Tookie Hannam's new play, Why?... was amusing, but as a mystery play it was less successful. Though the plot moved fast enough it did not avoid the pitfall of anti-climax and the dialogue was strained' (6 February 1933, p4).

Production Details
