The storyline revolves largely around the characters Stiffy, Mo, Pat, Honora, and Mrs Dooley.

Notes

  • The Nat Phillips Collection holding includes twelve pages from a farce titled The Dooleys, which was published in a 1921 issue of the USA-based theatrical magazine Madison's Budget. The close similarities between Mrs Dooley and A Pretty Kettle of Fish indicates that Phillips adapted the earlier work into a Stiffy and Mo revusical.
