AbstractHistoryArchive Description

One day, as a small group of men were gathered in the office of union official, John Bailey, they were approached by a Mr. Lasseter seeking assistance to mount an expedition to relocate a gold reef he had allegedly found. Sceptical at first, but then convinced by Lasseter's story, the group, which included Errol Coote, agreed to assist him. Coote details the events that ensued.
