The Theatre records that two of the features of this first-part entertainment were 'Art Slavin's staggersome make-up as a spiritualist, with big goggles eyes and a profusion of red curly hair' and the freak appearance presented by Fred Webber as Adolphus Quince. The critic suggests, too, that Slavin was 'the life and soul of the revue' (February 1918, p.41).
