The formation of a subset of literature of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander writers now has the new name of 'Black Words'. This subset sits within Austlit : The Resource for Australian Literature, and over time, will include 'records and information about stories from oral traditions that are not published in the formal sense of the word but are a part of Indigenous storytelling cultures'.
