This documentary performance tells the story of Chika Honda, a Japanese female tourist who spent a decade in prison for a crime she has always insisted she did not commit. She was one of a Japanese tour group who were arrested, convicted and sentenced to jail for importation of heroin in 1992. She was released on parole and deported in 2002.

Chika is a multi layered production utilising documentary images and interviews, archival video, original music and choreography.
