Notes

  • 'The King of Car Tapes is a comedy about lost people, long haunted stretches, vast empty interiors and the filling up of one's soul. With no money and a pressing need to leave Sydney, Dan answers a newspaper ad: "Join the 'King of car-tapes' on a fantastic research and development project, & a free ride to Bris-Vegas". But, his free ride quickly turns into a surreal and elaborate nightmare as Dan and his fellow passengers travel past Brisbane and the limits of reality.' (from media release of the Queensland Theatre Company).
