Mary O. James has written short stories and poetry which have been included in anthologies and read over FM Radio. Two of her plays were performed by the Townsville Little Theatre, and her prose was read at Dance North's 1994 production, 'Meet Me at Kissing Point'. James has been associated with Writers in Townsville and University of the Third Age Creative Writers.
