BiographyHistory

The Friends of the Turnbull Library is an incorporated society promoting public interest in the Alexander Turnbull Library (Wellington) and its supporting activities. The Library was founded in in 1918 upon the gift of an extensive private collection of Alexander Horsburgh Turnbull, a prominent early Wellington citizen.
