1 y separately published work icon Paragon Natalie J. E. Potts , Natalie J. E. Potts , 2011 10173662 2011 single work novel science fiction young adult

Paragon is a dome-encased biosphere that has seen nine generations since the calamity which almost wiped out humanity. What started as a selection of a few hundred doctors and scientists with the foresight to escape the end of the world, has turned into a city governed by strict rules and even stricter methods of enforcing them.

Now the moral foundations upon which it was built are starting to falter as the head of the high command uncovers the lies and hypocrisy of the leaders before him. And who is tapping into the computer systems looking for a way out, more importantly, why?

When a savage starts banging on the walls of Paragon from the outside everything the residents have been led to believe is questioned. In a place where subversion is punishable by death, there is no room for doubt. When four citizens start looking for their own truths, it is only a matter of time before they find each other, but time becomes their enemy as their lives go on the line.
