BiographyHistory

Josephine Raj has lived in Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Australia, Papua New Guinea and the United Arab Emirates. Her father was born in India, but grew up in England, and her mother was born in the Philippines. Together with the other members of her family she took out Australian citizenship in 1997, holding dual citizenship with the UK. She came to Adelaide in 2002, enrolling as a BA student at Adelaide University with a major in English. She later worked as a teacher in the Port Lincoln area.
